Childhood

is this weeks theme over on TGIF.

I've made my piece on a base of corrugated card that was recycled from some packaging. The use of the corrugated card is inspired by my friend Joanne, who has used it several times and always to great effect.

wow! I am honoured to be the inspiration for this piece!, it's absolutely gorgeous, I love the aged feel to it. looks like something that was found in ans old attic. I love corrugated card, it's such a nice base to work on (and light too)

What a beautiful warm piece and the strength is in the simplicity and beautiful shading - so nice to see art that is not over embellished.

Can you tell I really like this piece??
