Do you wanna dance?

The theme this week over on MMM is dance.

I have had the sheet of ballerinas I downloaded from Lisa Vollraths site for ages waiting for the chance to use them, well this weeks challenge over on MMM gave me that chance.
My background is made from a dried up babywipe, sprayed with glimmer mists, sprinkled with embossing powders and UTEE and finished off with a few micro beads and a spot of glitter.
Thanks for looking.

Asia

is the theme on MaMoT this week.

Altered

is this weeks theme on the Created by Hand blog.

I have altered a very small wooden domino, it is only about 1.5 inches in length.
I've used UTEE, micro beads, textured paper, rubber stamps, and metalic rub ons.
I haven't decided what I am going to do with it yet, either a keyring or maybe an addition to a handbag charm I have on my current favourite bag.

I enjoyed making the first domino so much I had to make another, lol.

Places.....

is this weeks theme on MMM.

Now I could of picked anywhere in the world, but seeing a my head is still a little full with memeories from last week in Italy I thought I had better not fight the urge so Italy is my 'place'

The background is an image transfer of a photo I took last week, I played around with the colour and contrast a little before using the picture. This is the original

where's the time gone

I last posted 10 days ago, and the time has flown by. I have to admit to having escaped off to Lake Garda for 5days visiting my daughter who is working out there for six months this year. What a gorgeous area, the lake and mountains are stunning and all the towns with their castles dotted around the lake just ripe for exploring, stunning.

I have a major fear of heights and so when it was decided that we would take a trip on the cable car up Mount Baldo I was a little terrified, but it was worth the fear as we were rewarded with stunning veiws, when the cloud broke enough for us to see through it.

I did make a card for my friend Lana, whos birthday it was while I was away, hope you had a wonderful day Lana.

and also was my friend Jackies birthday, hope you had a wonderful day too Jackie

My pendant

I made this pendant for Jackie .

The background is actually a piece of scrap paper I had down on my table to protect it from some inks and paints I was using to make backgrounds, when I was cleaning up I was about to throw the scrap paper in the bin when I noticed there were some pretty amazing effects on the paper so I cut the areas out to use at a later date. The rest of the pendant is made up from Basic Grey rub ons and a butterfly image taken from a crafty individuals image book. The layers were then sealed in with three layers of Glossy Accents.

I set the challenge to the girls on the forum to make pendants, the results were stunning so if you want to see some of the others check out the Chrysalis girls links in my side bar.

Make a Moo Friday

the theme this week on MaMot is CATS.

Printables

Lisa Vollrath has a gift on her site

As a gift to those who have supported my mixed-media web sites, LisaVollrath.com, Ten Two Studios and Go Make Something, I've created a countdown to Father's Day that reveals a new printable image sheet each day. Each day from June 5th through Father's Day, June 15th, one letter will be replaced with a link to that day's surprise for my fellow altered art, collage, paper crafting and scrapbooking enthusiasts.

another fairy door

Well thats it, I'm addicted, these little doors are just so much fun to make, Iwant to make more.

Fairy doors..........Have I lost the plot?

I very well may have, lol, when my friend Joanne mentioned fairy doors it got my mind racing, I had all these ideas bouncing around so I had to make one. I hadn't heard of them before so did a bit of research ( don't you just love the Internet lol) and found out what I could. They range from about 6 to 10 inches in height, just big enough for a fairy to get through, and you pop them in your home to allow the fairies in, isn't that just the sweetest idea :o)

I loved making this, so watch out I think I may be making a few more.
