All on the move

I have several friends who have either just moved house or are moving in the next few weeks. I wanted to make them all a little something and new home cards really were not working for me so I went with these little hangings. I've really enjoyed making these, and I'm glad to say I still have another two to make.

This first one has an alcohol inked background with over stamping and embossing. The main image is part of a stamp from good old Crafty Individuals, stamped in purple and highlighted in white souffle pen.

This hanging I've made for a friend who has moved to the coast (lucky thing, not jealous honest :o) ) I've used a large slide mount as the frame and covered it in a piece of worked paper, scrunched, inked and embossed, I think it kind of looks like sea spray. The stamp I've used is from a very old set of Stick and Stamp stamps I bought many years back and only have used a couple of times.

Another with alcohol inks as the background, also with a layer of overstamping in red, copper and strlight black. The butterflies are from another of Crafty Individuals image books.

Beautiful selection of hangings here deb, love the last one for the deep colour, but drawn to the middle one also, perfect for staying by the sea.

These are beautiful. They will make gorgeous additions to the New Homes. I love the middle one as it would suit my bathroom & the two AI ones would just suit everywhere really.
