The monthly challenge was to make an Art doll. I've never made one before and did find it a bit difficult. I knew who the doll was destined for and as she is a busy teacher I wanted my doll to portray calmness and tranquility.
The background stamp is from Cornish Heritage. The lovely face was sent to me by Anjie.
I am a p/t working, married Mom of three, who in her spare time likes to get messy with mixed media. My passion started with making greeting cards, but it has grown to include lots of techniques and styles.

Love this Deb, it is very calming and peaceful and happy looking. lovely work.
Deb, it is a fantastic doll, very maternal in spirit, she reminds me of a prehistoric Venus, all well rounded. And three diamonds is a nice touch!
